The role requires a strong background in tool crib management andVMI, with a focus on client-facing service.

Responsibilities include audits, installations, training, and ongoing tech support, with travel approx. 40%. Monday–Friday schedule with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

3 years of Tool Crib management, industrial inventory (VMI), or related manufacturing experience.
Strong cutting tool literacy: identify inserts, end mills, drills, taps.
Proficient with Excel for inventory tracking and basic software systems.
Professional, client-facing communication and service orientation.

Responsibilities

Client-Site Audits: assess tooling inventory data at customer locations.
System Installation: lead or support installation of automated tool-vending hardware and inventory databases.
Customer Training: provide on-site software training post-installation.
Tech Support: remote and on-site maintenance for vending machinery and software.
Warehouse Backup: support internal Tool Crib and warehouse operations when not traveling.
