Job summary

Waterton Construction Group in Texas is seeking a Project Manager to oversee field-based operations and lead outdoor construction projects. The role starts with 6–9 months in the field as a Superintendent to learn Waterton's systems, then transitions into full project management responsibilities.

You will manage schedules, budgets, crews, and stakeholders, with growth into leadership across commercial and residential developments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management or leadership experience.
• Experience managing commercial, civil, sitework or outdoor construction projects.
• Previous PM/ Assistant PM/ Superintendent roles in construction.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, forecasting and cost control knowledge.
• Experience with project buyouts or procurement is a plus.
• Proficient with CoConstruct or similar PM software.
• Strong leadership and communication with field teams and subcontractors.
• Willingness to spend initial 6-9 months in the field.

Responsibilities

• During the initial field phase, learn Waterton's systems and project standards.
• Lead and coordinate field operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Build relationships with crews, subcontractors, clients, vendors, and leadership.
• Develop detailed understanding of schedules, production, labor, and costs.
• Transition to managing projects from launch to completion as PM.
• Manage schedules, budgets, labor, production, and documentation.
