Intertek is seeking a Field Technician to join our Building & Construction team in the Southeast region. The role involves field testing and building inspections, with on-site work at client locations and occasional travel. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree in a technical field preferred
• Construction experience preferred
• Ability or willingness to learn how to use power tools
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time or more
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Field testing projects and building inspections as assigned
• Forensic investigations of building envelope failures
• Prepare and submit accurate and concise reports on all projects assigned
• Provide project coordination including planning, scheduling, execution and reporting
• Communicate with clients and project team regarding site observations, test procedures and results
