Job summary

Intertek in Hillside, Illinois, is seeking an experienced Field Testing Technician to join the Building Science Solutions team. You will support field testing projects, perform building envelope inspections and forensic investigations, and coordinate reporting with project teams.

The role requires climbing and lifting, daily local travel, and a commitment to safety and quality. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 5+ years in commercial construction preferred; associate degree a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience with commercial construction and building exteriors.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders, scaffolding, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
