Vylor Inc. is seeking a Field Testing Specialist in York, Nebraska to support the York Research Center with crop planning, data collection, and field operations.

You will work with multi-crop seed filling, data collection, and GPS-enabled equipment, ensuring data quality and protocol adherence. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to peak-season overtime.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of agronomy, crop production, and experimental field plot design.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and relationships.
• Experience with data management and using computers for data collection.
• Experience operating planting and harvest equipment including GPS and data collection systems.
• Ability to lead, supervise part-time staff and manage time effectively.

Responsabilités

• Support York Research Center operations with multi-crop seed filling, seed preparation, and data collection.
• Operate planting, harvesting, spraying equipment and specialized remote sensing gear.
• Maintain agronomic plots and weed control protocols.
• Collect and assess data quality; assist with experiment planning and mapping.
• Supervise part-time crews to complete field activities per protocols.
• Be available for overtime during peak planting/harvest seasons.
