Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a Seed Applied Technologies (SAT) Global Field-Testing Lead to drive worldwide field trials, develop protocols, and coordinate execution through internal and external networks.

You will translate requests into actionable plans and summarize results to inform decisions across multiple crops and geographies. The role involves collaboration with SPD, TCD, and regional teams, plus data quality oversight and potential controlled-environment support.

Qualifications

• PhD in agronomy, plant science, biology, or related field; or Master’s with 5–10 years field research experience.
• Experience designing, coordinating, executing, or analyzing multi-location field trials and/or supporting controlled-environment experiments in seed, crop science, or related agronomic research.
• Ability to convert technical requests into executable protocols with clear treatments, design structures, measurements, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Translate SAT field testing requests into clear field trial plans across crops, geographies, and stages.
• Draft practical field protocols with treatment structure, design, success measures, and data timing.
• Coordinate execution through global field-testing networks considering site capabilities and calendars.
• Collaborate with SPD and regional teams to align SAT trials with existing field programs.
• Forecast and track field testing needs, signaling constraints early for leadership review.
• Ensure permits, approvals, and compliance requirements are identified and in place before execution.
• Coordinate data capture and perform or coordinate data quality review and analysis.
