Job summary

Vylor Inc. in Moorhead, MN is seeking a Field Testing Specialist to support field research at the Moorhead Research Center. You will plan experiments, collect and analyze data, and operate agricultural research equipment including tractors, planters, sprayers, and combines.

Weekend and overtime may be required during seasonal peaks to meet project goals. You will work with growers, experiment managers, and team members to summarize results and ensure compliance with safety and environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agriculture or a scientific field; 0–4 years experience in agronomy, biology, plant breeding or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software; data handling required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Use technology (drones, iPad, software) to conduct field research experiments.
• Follow protocols to collect, analyze and distribute large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with experiment managers to summarize results and suggest actions.
• Communicate effectively with growers, coworkers, customers and management.
• Assist with seed production activities; weekend work and overtime during seasonal peaks.
