Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking an Engineering Technician B to contribute to field test validation.

You will verify requirements and validate operational scenarios by executing over‑the‑air tests with an end‑to‑end focus, supporting a fast‑paced MCC Engineering team. Responsibilities include setting up test configurations, generating TRs, working with engineers to resolve issues, and helping to improve test procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with 4+ years of related experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates with 0–2 years related experience.
• Some familiarity with RF communications and propagation recommended.
• Knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, LAN and WAN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Test L3Harris products and systems in customer scenarios with an end-user focus.
• Contribute to test plans and procedures.
• Set up, configuration, and operation of data and voice communication equipment.
• Generate trouble reports (TRs) to communicate issues and characterize repeatability.
• Work with development engineers to resolve TRs and improve tests.
