Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Electrical Engineering in Rochester, NY to design, develop, and automate test and measurement software for military comms equipment. You will collaborate with engineers to analyze data, improve measurement techniques, and report findings.

Responsibilities include leading and mentoring HDV team members, and applying LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, and C#.NET to enhance testing efficiency and data visualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 4+ years of related experience; graduate degree or equivalent with 2–4 years preferred.
• Experience designing, developing, and debugging software for control/automation of test equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to mentor others on the HDV team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug software for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Improve measurement algorithms and reporting to reduce test time.
• Collaborate with engineers to evaluate measurement techniques and data.
• Organize and interpret large data sets; develop reports communicating product performance.
