Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Distribution Sales Representative to drive sales within a defined geographic territory and to interface with NAPA Company owned/Independent Jobber stores, Direct Jobbers, and Warehouse Distributors.

The role involves proactive account development, consultative selling, and delivering technical and market insights to grow distribution and end-user adoption. 75% travel is required and a valid driver’s license is a must.

Qualifications

• Must have 18+ years of age and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in sales.
• Must have a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales in a specific geographic territory and drive new points of distribution.
• Cultivate relationships with jobbers and end users to identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical/sales support as needed.
• Address customer issues and oversee resolution processes to ensure timely outcomes.
• Assist in configuring and optimizing inventory levels and mixing systems where applicable.
• Travel up to 75% of the time to serve customers and expand coverage.
