Job summary

Brightspeed is seeking a Customer Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed internet, video, and voice networks. You will work on outside plant facilities, climb poles, and perform street-level digs, ensuring safety and quality.

You may work varying shifts with mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays. This role is part of a hybrid workforce with opportunities across multiple states.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Color vision required to distinguish facilities.
• Physical ability to handle ladders and equipment.
• Training in POTS/DSL installation and repair will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed internet, video and voice networks and related wiring/equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair on outside plant facilities.
• Climb poles and dig in utility access areas; locate buried cables.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations; assist other technicians as needed.
• Support sales and marketing activities; direct customer-facing work and referrals.
