Job summary

Brightspeed is seeking a Customer Service Technician to join our field operations team. You will install, maintain and troubleshoot high-speed internet, video and voice services and manage related wiring and equipment in customers' locations.

The role involves climbing poles, digging and burying cable as needed, and working in outdoor environments while following all safety rules. Weekend and overtime shifts may be required to support customers.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining high-speed networks (internet/video/voice).
• Ability to climb poles and work in outdoor utility spaces.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Technician, you will be performing installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed internet, video and voice networks including associated wiring and equipment.

You will also be maintaining and repairing outside plant facilities within assigned geographic service areas.

As a Customer Service Technician, you may be required to work varying shifts that include mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays.
