Job summary

Antietam Broadband, part of Schurz Communications, Inc., seeks an energetic Business Sales Executive in Hagerstown, MD. This in-market, in-office role focuses on new revenue through local business partnerships, with uncapped commissions and a 100% in-market presence.

The position requires strong presentations, relationship building and knowledge of telecom and data services; full-time hours in Washington County, MD, with on-target earnings of $80,000–$95,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 7+ years of sales experience in telephony, data and video systems preferred.
• Experience in consultative selling: prospecting, appointments, needs analysis, proposals and closing.
• Strong negotiation, problem solving, networking and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and organization.
• Desire to drive sales activity with a loyal enterprise client base.
• Understanding Metro E Fiber access, managed network services and cloud solutions (DRaaS, UCaaS, SECaaS, IaaS).
• Experience with IT Managed Service Providers.
• Experience selling to business IT decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify new business development opportunities.
• Build sales relationships with businesses, community organizations, and government officials to promote Antietam Broadband services.
• Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations showcasing products and services.
• Stay informed on evolving technologies, networks and services relevant to business customers.
• Maintain accurate sales records and generate activity reports.
• Attend client meetings with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Collaborate with IT, TechOps, and installation teams to ensure service levels exceed expectations.
• Coordinate with marketing on campaigns and revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate installation scheduling and upgrades with the installation team.
