Job summary

CACI is seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our Field Services Team to provide on-site end-user support, telecom installation, programming, maintenance, and repairs for a wide range of systems. This role supports EITaaS initiatives across CONUS/OCONUS field environments, with travel up to 10%.

The ideal candidate will deploy desktops, troubleshoot hardware, configure VOIP and devices, document actions, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure mission-critical operations are supported

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant field experience; bachelor’s degree may substitute for 5 years.
• IAT Level II certification (example: Security+).
• Proficient with Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong time management.
• Ability to obtain secret clearance and lift/carry computer hardware.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, and deploy desktops; troubleshoot hardware including desktops, laptops, monitors, and docking stations; manage OS, BIOS, and data encryption.
• Install and troubleshoot end user apps and certificates.
• Repair and restore data files, decrypt inaccessible files, and troubleshoot permissions.
• Document actions in trouble tickets and meet SLAs.
• Install and configure VOIP phones, voicemail, and troubleshoot phone issues.
• Configure print/scan/fax features on multifunction devices and resolve communication issues.
• Assist with user moves including connectivity, computers, and phones.
• Prepare obsolete assets for disposal.
• Assist other IT teams as needed.
