Job summary

CACI is seeking a Field Technician to join our Field Services Team, providing on-site end-user support, telecom installation, programming, maintenance and repairs across diverse systems. The role supports the EITaaS program delivering ITSM and enterprise service desk capabilities for the DAF.

You will image, configure and deploy desktops, troubleshoot hardware, install apps, manage encryption, and document actions in tickets while meeting SLAs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience; a Bachelor's Degree may substitute for 5 years.
• IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+)
• Proficient with Windows desktop operating systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to obtain secret clearance.
• Active secret clearance.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes of computers, monitors, and other hardware.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, and deploy physical and virtual desktops; troubleshoot and repair hardware including desktops, laptops, zero clients, monitors, and docking stations; manage OS, BIOS, disk and data encryption.
• Install and troubleshoot end user apps and certificates.
• Repair and restore data files, decrypt inaccessible files, apply and troubleshoot permissions.
• Properly document actions in trouble tickets and meet all SLAs.
• Install and configure VOIP phones and voicemail, troubleshoot phone issues.
• Configure print, scan, and fax features on multifunction devices, troubleshoot communication issues.
• Assist with user moves, including connectivity, computers, and phones.
• Prepare obsolete assets for disposal.
• Assist other IT teams as needed.
