Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Technician Engineer Field to support the design, construction, and maintenance of telecom infrastructure in the Englewood area. The role focuses on field engineering, permitting, and conduit planning to connect America.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, gather site data, produce drawings, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. A strong safety mindset and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant work experience considered.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to travel and work after hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage field engineering activities for planning, designing, and permitting new cable routes.
• Visit customer sites to gather OSP site survey information and determine required equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, project management, and scheduling teams to deliver results.
• Coordinate with GIS/drafting teams to produce construction drawings for network build.
• Prepare permit drawings, OSP construction drawings, and final as-built drawings per specs.
• Research permitting requirements from state/local authorities and reconcile with OSP design.
• Evaluate route options for cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with the customer’s engineering team via email/phone; occasional meetings.
• Maintain safe working habits and comply with policies.
