Job summary

BuildingPoint Partners – Midwest & Gulf Coast is seeking an FTG Account Manager I to join our growing Field Technology Group, supporting contractors throughout the Detroit territory. You’ll work directly with contractors to identify opportunities, develop relationships, expand accounts, and coordinate internal resources across the sales cycle.

This is a customer-facing sales role focused on new business development, existing-account growth, and territory development across our field technology

Qualifications

• Strong sales and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage a geographic sales territory.
• Effective communication and follow-through.
• Self-starter with remote territory experience.

Responsibilities

• Own customer relationships, Detroit market, and sales performance across the territory.
• Prospect into new contractor accounts and expand relationships and technology adoption.
• Lead customer discovery and translate needs into technology solutions.
• Manage opportunities through qualification, positioning, proposals, negotiation, and close.
• Coordinate with Advanced Solutions Group on complex opportunities (layout, site projection, etc.).
• Partner with Customer Success to support post-sale adoption and success.
• Develop account strategies to increase penetration and cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain pipeline, forecasts, activity, and CRM records across contractor orgs.
