Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for the FAA Field Services organization, primarily supporting Anchorage, AK. The role involves installation, repair, configuration, testing, and preventive maintenance of telecom and network equipment.

You will work in a demanding, high-visibility environment requiring strong problem-solving, safety, and customer service skills, with travel across the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associates degree with 2 years related experience
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, configure, test and preventative maintenance of network and telecommunications equipment
• Maintain records on repairs, downtime, changes and updates
• Troubleshoot software and hardware, assist Help Desk/NOC as needed
• Travel up to 100% within a 4-hour drive circle of base location
• Capable of lifting 70 pounds
• Support on-site installation and support of FAA-related systems
