Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician to support the FAA from the Omaha, Nebraska area. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications and network systems, with heavy travel (up to 100%).

Responsibilities include configuring and testing equipment, assisting with server and office software, and providing end-user support. A high school diploma or higher with relevant experience is required; US Public Trust clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventative maintenance of network and telecommunications equipment.
• Provide hardware/software/network support to end-users and perform basic software troubleshooting.
• Travel up to 100% of the time within a 4-hour drive circle of base location; may travel outside region as needed.
• Capable of lifting 32 pounds and using ladders to reach heights around 10 feet.
• Obtain a US Public Trust Clearance; support FAA Field Services operations in Omaha area.
