Field Technician / Installer - Union City, CA

Join our team as a Field Technician / Installer - Union City, CA at Lifeway Mobility. We are dedicated to helping individuals live independently and safely in their homes by installing accessibility solutions such as wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts.

Position Details

• Location: Union City, CA, USA
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime

Responsibilities

• Pick up and load the company vehicle each morning
• Install and repair accessibility products
• Explain projects to customers and answer questions
• Enter work order and inventory data into our system
• Receive manufacturer training and hands-on learning
• Work independently or in a two-person team
• Complete jobs ranging from a few hours to several days; no overnight travel
• Tools are provided

Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle checks

Physical Requirements

• Lift 75+ lbs and work overhead
• Work indoors and outdoors year-round
• Climb ladders, crouch, and work at heights and in confined spaces
