Job description

The ideal candidate will reside in the Ann Arbor, MI, area. The territory includes the Midwest and other areas as needed.

Grow with Us - Your Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer care and build positive relationships with customers
  2. Provide technical support to customers in case of issues
  3. Coordinate workflow with the schedule to minimize unnecessary travel. Travel to customers by ground, train, and air as needed
  4. Train customers on the essential use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments
  5. Perform field service, calibration, installation of complex mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance and sterilizations
  6. Assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations, follow company procedures, and perform software updates/upgrades
  7. Draft documentation of processes and procedures as required
  8. Maintain accurate records of parts and service activities
  9. Produce timely, accurate, and detailed service reports and customer repair estimates
  10. Identify and pass along leads to the sales manager
  11. Travel to our facilities for training and conferences as needed, including Ann Arbor, MI, Fremont, CA, and others
  12. Support up to 90% overnight travel in the Midwest and other regions of NA
  13. Lift items weighing up to 35 kg
What Will Convince Us
  • Associate's degree in engineering, military training certifications, or 5+ years of proven field service experience
  • 3+ years of field service experience in the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing skills in mechanical, electrical, and IT areas
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
