UES, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician II to support engineering, environmental, materials testing, and inspection projects. You will perform field and lab testing, inspections, and help ensure construction projects meet quality and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and enjoys outdoor work. You’ll collaborate with project teams, solve challenges, uphold safety, and may mentor junior technicians while advancing your career.

Qualificações

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; construction/engineering/geology coursework preferred.
• 3+ years in materials testing, construction inspection, or geotechnical fieldwork.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing certification preferred or obtainable within specified time.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field testing and inspections for soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials.
• Conduct special inspections, including grading and A inspections, ensuring compliance with project specs and standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, PMs, and engineers to provide timely insights and keep projects moving forward.
• Collect samples, evaluate site conditions, and deliver accurate test results for informed decisions.
• Maintain testing equipment and uphold quality standards in field and lab environments.
• Promote safety culture and work across diverse construction settings.
• Mentor junior technicians and share field best practices.
• Travel to project sites regionally and adapt to evolving schedules.
