Job summary

UES is seeking a Field Technician II to support engineering, environmental services, materials testing, and inspection projects. You will conduct advanced field and laboratory testing, perform on-site inspections, and ensure projects meet industry standards while adhering to safety protocols.

You will work outdoors in dynamic environments, collaborating with a team to solve real-time challenges and maintain high quality and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field-based experience in materials testing, construction inspection, geotechnical fieldwork, or related industry.
• Proficiency with MS Office and field data collection tools.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials.
• Collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure accuracy of test results and documentation.
• Prepare detailed reports and communicate updates to project managers.
• Mentor junior technicians and support safe, efficient field operations.
