Qualifications

• High school diploma required; vocational training in construction, engineering, geology, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of field-based experience in materials testing, construction inspection, geotechnical fieldwork, or related industry.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing certification preferred or ability to obtain promptly.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ability to safely operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials per project specs.
• Collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories ensuring integrity.
• Maintain testing equipment and perform routine calibration and maintenance.
• Prepare detailed reports, logs, and documentation of test results for project managers.
• Communicate with dispatch, field supervisors, contractors, and project managers with real-time updates.
