Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling is seeking a Field Technician II to keep customer material handling equipment running at peak performance. You’ll travel to customer sites, diagnose and repair a wide range of systems, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will work on diverse equipment across makes and models, with a focus on safety, clear communication, and high-quality service. CDL preferred and tools provided by you.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing material handling equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record; CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations across the assigned region.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electric forklift systems, LPG and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and more.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coordinate with the Parts Department to identify, order, and return parts as needed.
• Maintain high uptime and ensure quality service on every visit.
