Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, a premier material handling dealer, seeks a Field Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment at customer sites across Yakima, WA. You’ll perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on forklifts and related systems, delivering trusted service with strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in material handling.
• Basic computer knowledge for diagnostics and reporting.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the Yakima region to diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fork lifts, engines, hydraulics, and related systems.
• Coordinate with Parts to order and return parts as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers and document service visits.
• Assist in shop repairs when needed and ensure high-quality service.
