Pape’ Material Handling, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team in Yakima, WA. You will diagnose and repair diverse material handling equipment at customer locations, ensuring peak performance and uptime.

You will travel within your region, performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs, with occasional shop work. The role emphasizes customer communication, high-quality service, and reliable on-site support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment in field settings.
• Excellent communication and customer-relations skills.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work with little supervision and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Travel within the assigned Yakima region to service equipment.
• Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs; some shop work may be required.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to identify, order, and return parts as needed.
