Pape’ Material Handling in Yakima, WA is seeking a Field Technician to keep customer equipment running at peak performance. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on material handling systems at customer sites, traveling across your region to deliver high-quality service.

You should have strong problem-solving skills, good communication, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and professionalism on every visit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in material handling.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work with little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and preventive maintenance at customer locations.
• Travel throughout the assigned region to service equipment.
• Ensure maximum uptime and high-quality service on every visit.
• Coordinate with Parts to identify, order, and return parts as needed.
• Work on various makes/models of material handling equipment.
