Job summary

ICON is seeking a Field Engineering Technician II to support commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Titan 3D printing systems in the field. You will work with senior technicians to resolve issues, execute preventive maintenance, and gain hands-on skills to operate independently on active construction sites.

Expect travel, outdoor environments, and a steep learning curve with real ownership from day one.

Qualifications

1+ year(s) as a Field Technician or equivalent.
OSHA 10, CPR, heavy equipment certificates.
Ability to read wiring diagrams.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Able to anticipate issues and guide others.

Responsibilities

Connect and disconnect electrical, pneumatic, and network cabling to facilitate printer mobility with minimal supervision.
Independently troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software issues on the printers and related systems.
Update ticketing system with accurate documentation of troubleshooting steps, replacements, and maintenance performed.
Build strong relationships with Print Operators to ensure smooth project execution and determine root causes of recurring issues.
Lead the coordination of complex tasks while ensuring team safety and efficiency.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to reduce downtime and maintain printer performance.
Regularly monitor printer data to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
