Job summary

UES is a national leader in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and materials testing. As a Field Technician II, you will perform in-field testing across construction materials, collect critical data, and collaborate with project teams to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; related coursework preferred.
• 3+ years of field-based materials testing or geotechnical experience.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing certification preferred or obtainable.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints and procedures.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on concrete, soil, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials.
• Support a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Partner with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure quality and compliance.
• Deliver accurate testing results that drive important construction decisions.
• Mentor newer technicians and promote safety and teamwork.
• Grow expertise through certifications, training, and diverse project experience.
