Job summary

CMC Energy Services seeks a Field Technician II to perform installations, service, inspections, and energy audits to establish baseline energy use and recommend saving measures. You will educate customers on usage and install energy-saving improvements during service visits.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to travel to client sites. A high school diploma is required, Associate’s degree preferred, and Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years’ construction or industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license required, and travel to client locations may be necessary.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits, assessments, and work orders as scheduled.
• Identify potential conservation measures and recommend energy-efficient technologies.
• Provide customers with energy education sessions and recommendations.
• Perform diagnostic testing, install program measures and conduct minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain inventory materials and keep a safe, organized work area.
