Job summary

CMC Energy Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician III to perform energy efficiency tasks including installations, inspections, and comprehensive energy audits. You will educate customers on usage, install energy-saving measures, and interpret test results to establish baselines.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. This on-site position involves driving to client locations and adhering to OSHA safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelor's preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications as required by the program.
• 2-4 years' construction or industry experience; energy industry preferred.
• Strong communication, written and verbal; relationship-building with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits, assessments and work orders daily as scheduled.
• Identify conservation measures and potential savings; recommend tech.
• Educate customers on energy efficiency and available measures.
• Perform diagnostic testing, install program measures and minor repairs.
• Manage inventory and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Communicate issues to supervisor for prompt resolution; comply with safety rules.
