Job summary

CMC Energy Services is seeking a Field Technician II to perform installations, inspections and energy audits. You will educate customers on energy usage and implement energy-saving measures consistent with program specifications.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, relevant certifications, and 1–3 years of construction experience. A valid driver’s license is required for travel to client locations, with safety and accuracy emphasized in all duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree a plus.
• Relevant industry certifications as required by the program.
• 1–3 years' construction or industry experience preferred.
• Energy industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits, assessments, and work orders as scheduled.
• Identify potential conservation measures and recommended energy efficient technologies.
• Educate customers on energy usage and recommendations.
• Perform diagnostic testing and install program measures; minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure a safe, clean work area; ensure equipment is kept in good condition.
