Job summary

CMC Energy Services, Inc. in Hamilton, NJ is seeking a Field Technician II - Weatherization Installer to perform installations, service, inspections, and energy audits to establish baseline energy use and recommend saving practices.

You will educate customers on energy efficiency, install energy-saving measures, and ensure safe, clean job sites. Travel to client locations may be required with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree a plus.
• 1–3 years of construction or industry experience preferred.
• Energy industry experience a plus.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to client locations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits, assessments, and work orders daily as scheduled.
• Identify potential conservation measures and recommend energy efficient technologies.
• Provide customers with education sessions and recommendations on energy efficiency measures.
• Install program measures and perform minor repairs as appropriate based on program specifications.
• Manage inventory materials and company issued equipment.
• Maintain a safe working environment and protect customer property at all times.
• Communicate all issues to the supervisor for prompt resolution.
• Perform duties in compliance with OSHA and safety procedures.
