Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician II to join the Asheville team. This role focuses on field testing, observation, and sampling, with supervision to build technical competency while maintaining customer service.

You will perform field testing, document results, and support project teams. The position is field-based with safety and ECS Core Values guiding daily work and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintain basic certifications and one advanced certification applicable to CMT work.
• OSHA 10 may be required for driving or on behalf of ECS.

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete.
• Executes routine testing with minimal supervision.
• Communicates with contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs.
• Submits accurate daily field reports with test results.
