Job summary

Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) is seeking an EMP Field Technician I/II to support rapid manufacturing and testing activities in Colorado Springs, CO.

The role includes field and lab test setup, teardown, and restoration, with a focus on RF/EM test methods and safety practices. You will perform duties under supervision, build proficiency through hands-on testing, and may travel CONUS/OCONUS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• 0-2 years of relevant technician experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (CONUS/OCONUS).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety practices.
• DOT medical certification capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide entry-level engineering, fabrication, and maintenance support.
• Assist with lab and field test setup, execution, teardown, and restoration.
• Construct, maintain, and test electrical and mechanical systems.
