Job summary

SARA is hiring an EMP Field Technician I - II in Colorado Springs, CO. You will support rapid manufacturing and testing activities, perform RF/EM tests, assist with field and lab work, and help maintain test equipment under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 0–2 years’ relevant experience. Travel up to 40% (CONUS/OCONUS) and a valid driving license are needed, with DoD clearance obtainable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of relevant technician experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (CONUS/OCONUS).
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide entry-level engineering, fabrication, and maintenance support under direction.
• Assist with laboratory and field test setup, execution, teardown, and restoration.
• Construct, test, maintain electrical and mechanical systems and components.
• Assist with testing and modifying electronic systems using diagnostic tools.
• Document procedures and designs; support project testing activities.
• Perform field test duties with extended hours on deployments.
