Job summary

UES is seeking a Field Technician to perform field inspections and testing at active project sites, collect environmental and construction samples, and support QA efforts while working with engineers and project managers. You will operate field equipment and follow safety and OSHA protocols on diverse projects.

Ideal candidates are curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable outdoors in varying weather, with a commitment to quality and the ability to travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
• 0–3 years in field-based outdoor roles preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles.
• Industry certifications such as ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Properly collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories for testing and analysis.
• Ensure testing requirements meet project specifications and company policies.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation of test results for project managers.
