Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Field Technician I to support maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecom site infrastructures. You will read detailed plans, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of field/construction experience, a valid driver’s license, and readiness to travel extensively. This role may require weekends and nights, with compensation $23–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate generators, HVAC, and telecom site infrastructures.
• Read and understand a customer’s detailed plan and follow it accurately.
• Provide superior customer service while performing duties safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to company and industry standards/regulations.
• Review peer work and perform other duties as assigned.
