Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is hiring a Field Technician I to support maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecom site infrastructures. You will read customer plans, provide top-tier service, and ensure safety and compliance across projects.

You should have about a year in general construction, be able to lift 50 lbs, work up to 12 hours, and be willing to travel and work weekends. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

  • 1 year of general construction experience preferred; some cell industry experience highly preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
  • Ability to work on ladders, demonstrated manual dexterity.
  • Must be adaptable to changing environments.
  • Must lift up to 50 lbs. and work up to 12 hours.
  • Available to work weekends/nights and travel extensively.

Responsibilities

As a Field Technician I, you are responsible for providing support in the maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.


In addition, you will:



  • Read and understand a customer detail plan

  • Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner

  • Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations

  • Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work

  • Review peer work product

  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation of $15-$18 per hour.
