Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or coursework is a plus.
• 0–3 years in a field-based outdoor or physically demanding role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Industry certifications such as ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing or ability to obtain.
• Commitment to workplace safety per OSHA standards and PPE usage.
• Basic computer proficiency; MS Office and FDC software familiarity.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents and plans.
• Strong time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials.
• Properly collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories.
• Ensure testing requirements are met and compliant with project specs and policies.
• Complete detailed reports, logs, and documentation of test results.
• Maintain testing equipment and conduct routine calibrations.
• Document test results, observations, and site conditions clearly.
• Communicate progress with dispatch, field supervisors, and project managers.
• Adhere to project timelines and schedules; travel as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay compliant.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
