Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or coursework is a plus.
• 0-3 years of field-based outdoor or physically demanding work preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing certification, or ability to obtain within a set time.
• Commitment to safety, OSHA standards, and PPE usage.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Field Data Collection software.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel up to 70% for project work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates to verify specs.
• Properly collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories.
• Prepare detailed test reports, logs, and presentations per company standards.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment following guidelines.
• Communicate with dispatch, field supervisors, and project managers with status updates.
• Adhere to project timelines and safety policies on site.
• Operate and maintain the company vehicle as required.
• Support ongoing training and certification programs.
