TransCore is seeking a Technician I to join our team in the Austin, Texas area. The technician will perform on-site or in-house servicing, repair and installation of customer equipment, including installation and configuration of systems/firmware and preventive maintenance.

The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues, with responsibilities for documenting status reports and restoring equipment to operation quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site or in-house servicing, repair and/or installation of customer equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment and wiring.
• Configure component systems/firmware, including upgrades and programming.
• Conduct preventive maintenance actions and complete documentation.
