Job summary

TransCore ITS, LLC seeks a Technician I to join our Arlington, TX team. The role performs on-site or in-house servicing, repair and installation of company products, including electrical, data, and fiber optic work.

You will troubleshoot systems, document work orders, and support field installation projects. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED with Associates desirable, and have a hands-on approach to electronics, network and equipment testing, with strong attention to safety and

High school diploma or GED required; associates degree desirable.
Hands-on experience with electrical, data, and fiber optic work is preferred.
Proficiency with troubleshooting and documenting electronic work orders.

Responsibilities

Installs equipment including IP cameras, antennas, detectors, network gear, and controller cabinets.
Install and troubleshoot electrical, data, and fiber optic conductors.
Uses in-house software to diagnose system issues.
Terminates conductors to equipment (e.g., CAT6).
Connects electrical conductors to power to energize equipment.
Tests devices to verify proper operation.
Enters detailed information on electronic work orders.
