Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Field Technician I for Westminster, Colorado to perform testing and observations at project sites in the Greater Denver Area. The role involves operating testing equipment for soil and concrete, documenting results, and interpreting data under supervision.

Ideal candidates include those with some construction industry experience or a high school diploma, with willingness to travel; overtime, outdoor work, and lifting requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs frequently; occasional lifting over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to work off shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or other) and provide data reports.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Perform observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
