Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Field Technician in Dallas, TX to perform testing and observations at construction sites. You will operate testing equipment, interpret data from soil or concrete tests, and compile detailed reports under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds frequently; Occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record.
• One year of construction materials testing experience in the local market preferred.
• ACI Field Technician Grade 1 Certification preferred (required in some cases).

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete, or other) and report data.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams during testing.
• Perform tasks with detailed site observations and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation from test results.
