Job summary

Opifex-Synergy is seeking a Field Technician to manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of heavy equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform inspections, and coordinate with the service team to deliver top-quality customer support on job sites and at dispatches.

The role requires extensive diesel engine knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver’s license. Training and safety are emphasized in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Proven field service experience with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment on site or in the shop.
• Performs routine equipment clean-up, safety reviews, and pre-delivery inspections.
• Inspects, repairs, reconditions, and adjusts heavy equipment and completes related paperwork.
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
