Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a District Field Technician for our Minneapolis, MN facility. You’ll perform maintenance and repair on a range of rental and customer equipment, using a tech platform to manage work orders and service intervals.

The job offers on-site hours, overtime potential, and year-round OEM training to keep you at the top of the field. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, ordering parts, and maintaining thorough documentation while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders using our tech platform.
• Track service intervals and order parts.
• Diagnose issues by pulling data from multiple makes and models.
• Maintain safe repair practices and equipment handling.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance as needed.
• Keep paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed daily.
• Assist in training of lower level technicians.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Work in compliance with OSHA requirements (preferred).
• Undergo year-round OEM training.
