Mechanics Hub is actively seeking a Field Service Technician - Heavy Equipment to service forklifts, cranes, lift gates and related systems at customer sites in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Ideal candidates bring heavy equipment repair experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic skills and a strong commitment to safety.

The role requires 100% field work, a valid CDL B, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repair experience.
Heavy equipment repair experience including equipment-mounted systems or similar machinery.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
Valid CDL B with clean driving record and ability to obtain a 1-year DOT medical card.
Ability to perform 100% field service work and support customer-site repairs in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
High school diploma or equivalent and ability to pass background check and drug test.
Must have or be willing to obtain the necessary toolset and basic computer use for service records.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot and repair forklifts, cranes, loaders, lift gates and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective repairs and refurbishments in field service.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues using procedures and diagnostic tools.
Complete service records, daily reports and updates using company systems.
Adhere to safe work practices and environmental requirements.
Support customer satisfaction by addressing service concerns and communicating repair opportunities.
