Job summary

Vermeer All Roads in Manassas, VA is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to perform on-site service and repair of Vermeer machinery at customer locations. The ideal candidate enjoys independent work, has solid mechanical aptitude, and is at least 21 with insurability to drive company vehicles.

You will diagnose hydraulics, electrical and hydrostatic systems, perform welding and fabrication as needed, and maintain detailed repair records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years old and insurable to drive company vehicles.
• Experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager.
• Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed.
• Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed.
• Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements.
• Communicate with the factory for technical support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Vermeer All Roads is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join our awesome team in Manassas, VA. Put your skills to work repairing Vermeer machinery and components by traveling to customer locations. Ideal candidate has previous experience as a field technician. Must be 21 years old and insurable by our carrier.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly pay: $28–$40 (based on experience)
• Production bonuses available each pay period
• Full-time schedule Monday - Friday
